OPEN Interactive produces CHIS '27. This notice explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use chis2027.com or participate in the summit, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

This site (chis2027.com) and the Caribbean Housing & Infrastructure Summit ("CHIS '27") are produced and operated by OPEN Interactive, a Caribbean sovereign advisory and capital activation firm headquartered in St. Kitts & Nevis. For the purposes of this notice, OPEN Interactive is the data controller for personal information collected through this site and the summit lifecycle.

2. Information we collect

Registration and accreditation data: name, organization, role, country, contact details, dietary or accessibility requirements, professional credentials, and any documentation required for press, government, or sponsor accreditation.

Inquiry data: information you submit through the Express Interest, Sponsor, Partnership, Delegation, or Press forms.

Correspondence: emails and messages you send to us, and our replies.

Site analytics: standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and pages viewed, used in aggregate to understand site performance.

3. How we use your information

Deliver the summit and your participation in it (accreditation, badge issuance, session logistics, on-site facilitation, post-event materials).

Communicate with you about your registration, your inquiry, program updates, and operationally essential information about CHIS '27.

Coordinate with confirmed partners, sponsors, and the host venue where your participation requires it.

Improve the site and the summit program through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

Comply with applicable legal, accreditation, and security requirements.

4. Legal bases

We process personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of our agreement with you (for example, your registration), our legitimate interests in producing and securing the summit, and compliance with applicable law.

5. Sharing your information

Host venue and on-site partners: limited operational data shared with the American University of Antigua (AUA) Conference Center and CHIS '27-accredited on-site partners strictly for the purpose of delivering your participation.

Sponsors and partners: your contact information is shared with sponsors or partners only with your explicit opt-in (for example, by requesting an introduction or visiting their stand).

Government and accreditation bodies: where required for delegation, press, or security accreditation in Antigua & Barbuda.

Service providers: vetted processors that help us run the site, send email, host data, and process registrations, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Legal requirements: where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OPEN Interactive, our delegates, or the public.

We do not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

CHIS '27 is delivered in Antigua & Barbuda and OPEN Interactive operates across the Caribbean. Some of our service providers may process data in other regions. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards including service-provider commitments and recognized transfer mechanisms.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to deliver CHIS '27, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and maintain a reasonable archive of the OPEN Interactive summit franchise (which informs future editions). When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our processing of your personal information; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent at any time; and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@chis2027.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work continuously to maintain and improve our protections.

10. Children

CHIS '27 and this site are intended for professional and institutional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Updates to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, by direct notice to registered delegates.
